Two cut John Pringle signatures, each undated John Pringle was a Presbyterian minister in Canada, the United States and Bermuda. He was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and studied in Prince Edward Island, Ontario and Quebec. Ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1878, Rev. Pringle ministered in Ontario, Manitoba, and Minnesota (U.S.A.). In 1898, he was called to the Yukon where he served for a decade. He went to Sydney, Nova Scotia, in 1908; he served as an overseas chaplain during World War I, becoming a Lieutenant- Colonel. He was Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in 1919. He continued mission and church work, including in Bermuda and in relief camps in northern Ontario.
