First edition. 7 pages. 14 x 9 inches. Nice document, Ontario Provincial red seal with blue ribbon on front page. "Province of Ontario by the Honourable Daniel Roland Michener. Provincial Secretary, To all to whom these Presents shall Come Greeting. 29th December 1947..."
The purposes of the new Company being : “To manufacture, buy or otherwise acquire, hold, sell, exchange, mortgage and deal goods, wares and merchandise and other personal property of every kind and description”. Signed by [Daniel Roland] Michener as he was at the time Provincial Secretary and Registrar of Ontario from 1946 to 1948 Daniel Roland Michener was a Canadian lawyer, politician, and diplomat who served as Governor General of Canada, from 1967 to 1974, the 20th since Canadian Confederation. On October 15, 1962, Michener was sworn into the Queen's Privy Council for Canada. He then served on the boards of various corporations and charities and sat as Chancellor of Queen's University.
After the 1945 Ontario General Election Michener was appointed by Premier George Drew to Provincial Secretary and Registrar of Ontario, being responsible for formalising cabinet procedures, including agenda and minutes.
