On the valuation of a boat owned by Mr. Hall for a Court judgment. Oliver St. John, Esq., was a employee in that district in the service of Government, progressively as Clerk of the Peace, Chief Magistrate, Surrogate judge for the District of Conception Bay, (until the introduction of the Judicatore Act), and finally as one of the Bench of Magistrates.
