Support for the construction of an all-Canadian Main Trunk Line from Halifax-Montréal, and Windsor designed to extend an uninterrupted route of land communication to Chicago and Galena in the United States. Authorization to the Provinces to make loans to any company interested in building roads in those provinces. Creation of a Sinking fund for road construction (principally useful for Military purposes) and any unforeseen casualty in the Grand Trunk Line.
