3) Signed in white border of printed portrait on paper with two old vertical folds, 7 x 4-1/2 inches. “Ephraim Scott”

All in good condition. Ephraim Scott was a Canadian minister. Editor of The Presbyterian Record. B.A. from Dalhousie in 1870, and M.A. in 1875. Awarded Doctor of Divinty from Presbyterian College, Halifax; from the United Presbyterian College of Edinburgh and from the Free Church College in Edinburgh. His first ministry was at Milford, NS for 3 years, then the United (Westminster) Church in New Glasgow for a long period. Published the Maritime Presbyterian and The Children's Record. Moved to Montreal and lived there for 35 years. The Ephraim Scott Memorial Church was named for him.
