Autograph letter signed. Two pages, flat size 8 7/8 x 7 inches and now only folded once to 4 1/2 x 7 inches, (attached to page). Dated near Swiss Cottage Station, Dec[ember] 15, 81. To the publisher John Henry Ingram. Arranging to meet, and noting: “I do not know whether you care for Folklore. I am to read a paper on “Some Finds in Germanic and Welsh Folklore”, tomorrow Friday the 16th at 8pm, in our Folklore Society; at 22 Ablemarle Street (the rooms of the R[oyal] Arctic Society.) You and any of your friends would be welcome.” With envelope front in Blind’s hand. Laid down. Blind later published an article called 'New finds in Shetlandic and Welsh folk-lore', Gentleman's Magazine, March 1882
