Boston, June 7, 1768 - 7 x 9 inches on period paper. Manuscript document from, "Benja(min) Cobb," requesting the payment of £300 Sterling or "Halifax Currency." Interest will be soon accruing if balances aren't paid. Docketed on reverse “Duplicate of Capt. Benj. Cobb 3rd letter to Henry Kneller Esq. June 7, 1768”
Was folded now flat with some very small fold holes in a couple of places, otherwise, in very good condition.
This letter is addressed to Henry Kneller, who was a lawyer in Québec. In the autumn of 1769, Francis Maseres appointed Kneller acting attorney general, with this position confirmed in 1770. He died in 1776 in England
