Best single bibliography on the subject. Volumes 1 and 2 contain 20,003 annotated entries. Volume 3 is a thorough index by sub-topic Volumes 1, 2 & 3, are by far the most useful and referered to of the original 16 volume set produced.
These first three volumes cover the early era of Arctic exploration and are an indispensable reference for anyone interested in the history and literature of the Arctic.
