Based on Lancelot's Tour to Alet (pub. in his "Memoirs de St. Cyran," 1738) being a compilation and adaptation of extracts and memoranda, with numerous additions.
Mrs. Schimmelpenninck was a friend of Hannah More, and may have been introduced by her to the Moravian writers. This book is a selection from and adaptation of Lancelot's writings, together with some critical, biographical and historical notices of Mrs. Schimmelpenninck's own.
