They illustrate the methods of the Indians hunting buffalo and similar animals, the Pipe of Peace, the dances in honour of important meetings or occasions, and the emblems of the various tribes, I.e. Outagamis apelles Renards: Pouteouatamis appelles Puants, Outchipoues appeles Sauteurs, Nadovessis appeles Scioux, Outaguas V. Nations, Huron, Ilinois, Oumamis. There is also a large inset of the Niagara Falls and a Buffalo. A fascinating item.
